"There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds." - Laurell K. Hamilton, Mistral's Kiss. Hi, I am Jessica; a Trauma Specialist and Social Worker. I like to help others through difficult times and to improve lives. Stress can cause physical and mental symptoms that can be damaging to your life, body and mind. Life stress can bog us down in many ways and cause problems. If you are having problems that are affecting your personal, relationship, family, or work life, chances are, stress is affecting you. There is hope!

During the first session, I gather a brief history of issues and discuss the services that are needed. I provide education on how the therapy process works and what to expect to achieve the goals you are striving for. We will make a plan that is acceptable to you.

I provide therapy services to individuals, groups, and families in a variety of settings. I counsel for anxiety, depression, psychosis, relationship issues, grief, PTSD, cutting, stress, parenting, obesity, pain, developmental issues, and more. I am trained in EMDR, Yoga, and beginning Somatic Experiencing.

Helping adolescents, teens & young adults get out of survival mode using brain-based, nervous system therapy. Many people I work with describe feeling stuck in survival mode, where their body never fully relaxes and their emotions feel either too intense or completely numb. I specialize in helping pre/teens/young adults calm their nervous systems and find relief from anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and trauma-related symptoms using brain-based, experiential approaches. My work is grounded in trauma treatment, but we move at a pace that feels safe and manageable-without needing to relive painful experiences over and over.

Using polyvagal-informed therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) I help clients: Feel more grounded and regulated in their bodies. Reduce anxiety, panic, and emotional reactivity. Resolve distressing memories without becoming overwhelmed. Reconnect with a sense of safety, control, and confidence.
Many of the challenges my clients face stem from chronic stress, relational wounds, or past experiences that taught their nervous system to stay on high alert-even if they don't identify with the word "trauma." Together, we work to help the body learn that it's safe again. My approach tends to be a good fit for people who want practical, body-based tools.
